Well, my busiest season of the year (in my non-photography life) is coming to an end. I haven't had much of a chance to shoot as much personal work as I want to, but what can you do? The realities of client work and personal commitments demand attention before other things that I may prefer to be doing.
I have shot a lot of snapshots and quick pieces, but nothing earth shattering. Yesterday, I was out running some errands when I took this quick snap. It captures a lot of my feelings about autumn: beautiful dreariness, changes in life, the end of beautiful things, nature putting an end to many of our manmade summertime enjoyments. It's a beautiful, sad time, but it leads to a time of year that represents our ability to persevere and survive.
